Mariam Bukari, 15 years
Hello World!
My name is Mariam and my "christian" name is Mavis. I am 15 years old and I have a younger sister.
Every Sunday I like to go to church at 10 o'clock in the morning. I'm the leader of our church choir and we are singing and dancing there all together. The name of our church is "St. Joseph Catholic Church".
Some of my girlfriend are also in my choir, they are called Victoria, Abigail, Afija, Matilda, Samanta and Amina.
I also like to sing diffrent gospel songs.
In this case I wish you all a nice christmas-time!

Mariam stays in the Foster Care Community (FCC). In the picture you see the girls dorm, where eight girls find place to sleep. Each of them has a bed, a misquito net and a cupboard for their personal belongings (you see it in front with the colourful doors).
Mariam is washing her clothes |
Every Saturday all children recieve soap for washing their clothes. The children use the day to wash, so that they have clean clothes for Sunday and the following week.
Two weeks ago we introduced David in our blog. As you remember we had a picture where he was cutting soap. This is the soap we give out once a week to all children!

Isaac Dahamani, 15 years
Hello!
On Monday,
03th of December, Amina, Lisi and Magdalena the Volunteers and I drove to
Bolgatanga because I had to check my eyes at the hospital!
I stood up
in the morning like every day.
After breakfast I went to school. Suddenly Amina
collected me and told me, that we have to go to Bolga to the hospital for my eye-check.
She told me this the evening before, but I had forgotten it. I changed my
clothes and then we first went to Walewale, to bring some people to the market.
In Bolga,
we had to look for the hospital, because we all haven’t known, where it was.
But some minutes later we found it.
At first we had to fill out a new folder
for me. Later we went to the doctor for the
eye-check. The nurse did some tests with my eyes and then the doctor talked to
me.
When I was
finished in the hospital, we went to the market and bought some staff for the
orphanage. Later we went home. It was a nice day in Bolga.

Like Isaac, all children under the care of BRAVEAURORA as well as all employees are insured at the NHIS (National Health Insurance Scheme) - which provides free health care and medication at the public hospitals.

David Imoro, 14 years
Dear white
People!
My Name is
David and I am 14 years old.
Last
Saturday, on the 24th of November, I was with my friends and my
parents at our fire festival at chiefs palace. First we went to the house
from our chief and we were waiting for him. Later, when chief was coming, everybody
has some wood and we burned it.
It was very beautiful. There were many people
and we had a lot of fun!
Later in the evening we walked to the church. After church we played some music.
It was a very funny day.
Every Saturday all children recieve some soap for washing the body and some soap for washing the clothes. So tomorrow is washing day.
It was a very funny day.
