The young ambassadors this week took their campaign to kurugua a village
in the West Mamprusi District of the Northern Region of Ghana. The goal of the
programme is to create awareness on the negative effects of institutional care and on the positive effects of
(extended) family care, that parents and the Community should realize that
giving away their child to an orphanage can be supremely negative for the
further development and the whole life of their child.
